SALT CITY JUNIOR BASSMASTERS

TOURNAMENT RULES

(AS OF 1/12/06)

1.  No parents allowed to fish in any part of a tournament.

2.  No Juniors or Junior Pros are allowed to get lures tied for them or have someone cast for them.

3.  For every minute a person is late in a boat tournament, there will be a deduction of 4 points.  If a boat is late 10 minutes, that boat is disqualified.

4.   End of the year standings are determined by dropping 2 tournaments.  Minnows, Juniors and Junior Pros are separated into different groups.

5.   Fishing after the tournament director says last cast will result in a disqualification.

6.   Juniors and Junior Pros are not allowed to have live bait.

7.   Life Jackets must be on at all times during a boat tournament unless you are taking or putting on clothing and/or stretching.

8.   Sportsmanship is always to be shown.

9.   If there is a tie at the end of the year, a fish off will take place until someone catches a fish.

10. Any fish caught must be checked by the youth advisor or someone around you to make sure caught that fish.

11. If any rules are broken, that person is automatically disqualified.  This goes for anyone who is fishing.

12. If you see someone breaking the rules, report it to the tournament director immediately.

13. Rules will be reviewed before each tournament for any rules that have been made because of the location.  Any person arriving late should report to the tournament director or the youth advisor for any special rules.

14. People who don’t score points who show up will automatically get 2.5 points just for showing up.
